Our client located in Swanley, Kent is seeking experienced 7.5t Drivers to cover London and Kent areas

6.00 am – 3.00 pm – Monday to Friday

Being a collection and delivery driver for our client, you will be the first point of contact that their customers have with them, so strong customer facing skills are essential.

Your shift will start at the Swanley depot where you would assist with loading

Candidate Criteria:

• Ability to lift, load and carry

Core duties include:

• Delivering products to and offloading products for customers
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicles are well maintained
• Picking and packing of customer orders
• Warehouse duties when not driving and located at base
• Van Driving when required.
• Maintaining the warehouse and all related equipment in good order

Essential

• Full UK driving licence including class C1 entitlement (vehicles up to 7.5 tonne GVW) with no more than 3 penalty points
• Valid Current CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• Experience of driving professionally and a good knowledge of the geography of the City of London
• Good knowledge of compliance with all Road Traffic Acts and regulations
• Good positive attitude, a willingness to work hard and flexibility to become part of a long-standing team
• Good command of English and good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to work with or without supervision

Desirable:

• Fork Lift experience & qualification
