HR Assistant/Administrator

Our client, located in Hither Green, London, SE13, are seeking to recruit a HR Assistant / Admin Assistant to join their friendly hardworking team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth running of the HR department as well as providing cover to their Admin Department.


Hours/Days – 8.00 am – 5.00 pm (I hours lunch) – Monday to Friday


This is Permanent position however Temp to Perm would be considered.


Main Duties:


  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR Manager
  • Coordinate communications with staff and schedule training and assessments.
  • Compile and update employee records.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
  • Assist their recruiters to source candidates and update the database.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Manage customer, client and public feedback and complaints.
  • Manage and issue company site uniform and livery.
  • Cover the department during the Managers absence.
  • Assist with subcontractor/supplier review process.
  • Provide daily cover to the admin department.

Experience required:

  • Experience providing HR administrative assistance.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent communicative skills, both oral and written.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive data and information.
  • Ability to handle with sensitive situations calmly and methodically.
  • Experience in managing confidential data and personal information in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of employment law.
