Premises Manager

Our client, an Educational Establishment, located in London SE2, are seeking to recruit an experienced Premises Manager.

Hours:  6.30 am – 3.00 pm – 52 weeks per year

This is a permanent position

Applications from candidates with Premises Management experience with a non-educational background are also welcome.

Key Purpose of Role

To be responsible for the maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school premises & site.  Represent the school in dealing with contractors and suppliers involved in the repair and upkeep of the building. To promote and participate in achieving the most effective and economic use of the school premises, facilities, equipment and materials. To ensure the school complies with all current legislation relating to site safety and management.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic maintenance skills across a wide range of aspects
  • Full clean Driving Licence with a willingness to take minibus test
