Legal Conveyancing Secretary

Our client, located in Bexley, Kent, is seeking to recruit an experienced Legal Conveyancing Secretary with a minimum of 5 years experience.

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm with one hours lunch

Parking Available

Holidays – 20 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management:

    Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements, using audio dictation. 

  • File Management:

    Opening, managing, and closing client files, ensuring they are well-organised and up-to-date. 

  • Client Communication:

    Handling telephone calls, emails, and letters, responding to enquiries, and providing updates to clients, estate agents, and other parties. 

  • Administrative Tasks:

    Photocopying, scanning, filing, and other general administrative duties to support the conveyancing team. 

  • Liaising with Third Parties:

    Coordinating with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties involved in the property transaction. 

  • Searches:

    Assisting with property searches, such as Land Registry and local authority searches, and following up on any requisitions. 

  • Case Management Systems:
    Inputting and updating data into the firm’s case management system.
